Samuel P.B. House, MCC, CPCC, is an executive coach, OD and training consultant. As head of Soulutions Leadership and Coaching and founding partner of Polarity Pathways, he provides executive coaching, team coaching, coaching skills training, leadership development, and polarity training to leaders, coaches and teams in corporate, governmental, private, and non-profit sectors.
Coaching Executives and Leaders
Sam has over 13 years of experience as an executive coach, working primarily in the private sector, where he has coached CEO's senior executives, managers, and entrepreneurs. In this tenure, Sam has enhanced the functioning and productivity of teams, developed the communication skills and inspirational capacities of organization leaders, and trained high-level managers and leaders to use a "coach approach" with their subordinates and peers. He has used Strengths-based Assessments to enhance this work. His clients include privately held high tech companies, Fortune 500 companies and non-profits. He has trained executives and managers from governmental, private, and non-profit sectors in publicly offered and customized coach trainings.
Experience Training Coaches and Developing Leaders
Sam is a faculty member and senior course leader for The Coaches Training Institute, the standard-bearer of coach training organizations worldwide. He trains individuals in basic and advanced coaching skills. Sam is also a course leader for CTI's Leadership Program, an intensive 4-retreat, year-long program where developing authentic leadership skills and experiential learning methods are the primary focus.
Polarity Work
As a founding partner of Polarity Pathways, Sam writes on Polarity and Wholeness, provides experiential training, tele-classes, and coaching, using this unique approach in work with ever-present paradoxes and irreconcilable differences.
Sam is a trained psychotherapist with extensive experience in private practice, agency, and inpatient settings, working with individuals, couples and families.
Education and Certifications
Sam is a Master Certified Coach, in accordance with the International Coach Federation as well as certified by the Coaches Training Institute as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. Sam has had extensive training in Leadership Development, Workshop Design and Workshop Delivery utilizing the Co-Active Leadership Model, the Co-Active Coaching Model, and the Polarity Pathways Model. Sam has a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work.
